The House of Gordon
Founded in 1961 at Aboyne in Scotland by the Chief the MARQUIS OF HUNTLY, we meet every year at the Aboyne Games (1st Saturday in August) and publish an annual newsletter.
Membership
The HOUSE OF GORDON is open to:
- All persons bearing the name of GORDON;
- persons bearing one of the names of the Septs of Gordon;
- descendants of Gordons and Septs-men;
- those who served in the Gordon Highlanders and their families;
- other followers and supporters of the Chief including those wearing the Gordon tartan with his permission;
- all those with special knowledge of and interest in Gordon history and tradition (who may take out a bond of mandate).
